PRUNE · SELF discards

OMNIVSThe Silent Failure
OMNI saysPRUNE — SELF discards the unused; "no longer useful" (v3.1 verb), always logged.

PRUNE is SELF's discard verb (v3.1): it removes artifacts that have lost value, with the removal recorded (prunedAt). Per R7, only SELF prunes — no other layer may delete the record — which keeps deletion centralized and auditable. Naming: pruneStaleArtifact(a, now). PRUNE is what keeps the organism from drowning in its own history while leaving an honest trail of what it let go.
