PRESENT is how a cell reports outward/upward: it emits a packet (a BE) carrying a signal for higher layers to aggregate. The cell type is APC (antigen-presenting, in the biological metaphor). PRESENT is observation made explicit — instead of a cell silently knowing something, it presents it so organs/emotions/memory can act. It's the verb behind all telemetry up-flow.
